I am a board-certified clinical psychologist and have an extensive background in geropsychology. Dr. Estupinian will coordinate with your Geriatrician and/or primary physician to match the time they need the results. You will know after the testing when the results will be made available to you and your provider.
Dr. Estupinian will coordinate with your medical providers to get the results in within their time requirements. Nonetheless, Dr. Estupinian will tell you after you take the test when the results will be available and schedule a time to review the results with you.
Yes. Dr. Estupinian offers in-home services for older adults who have mobility challenges, transportation difficulties, or who are simply more comfortable receiving care in their own environment. In-home services are available for an additional fee beyond standard session costs. Please call the office at 844-802-6512 for pricing and availability.
For older adults who can travel, the Los Gatos office at 987 University Ave #20 is designed with accessibility in mind. The office suite has first-floor access, parking directly outside the front door, and no stairs or long walkways to navigate.
Please note that neuropsychological assessments can be conducted in-home for an additional fee, but are not available via telehealth. Individual therapy sessions are available via telehealth for patients located in California, Oregon, Illinois, and Florida.
Yes. Family involvement is an important part of geriatric mental health care at Dr. Estupinian's practice. Family members can participate in several ways:
* Family sessions — structured sessions designed to help family members understand their loved one's cognitive or emotional challenges, learn practical support strategies, and improve communication within the family system.
* Results review sessions — following a neuropsychological assessment, family members may be included in the results review with the older adult's permission, ensuring everyone understands the findings and next steps.
* Caregiver support services — dedicated support for family members who are serving as primary caregivers, addressing caregiver burnout, stress, and the emotional demands of the caregiving role
